The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is one of the largest ski areas in Austria with 270 km of pistes, of which 140 km are blue runs for beginners, 112 km red runs for intermediates and 18 km of black runs for more advanced. This added to 70 lifts and more than 60 cosy mountain huts, various Snowparks, flood-lit pistes, toboggan runs and a Freeride Park.
New in winter 2018/19
Every summer the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn undertakes investments to make the ski area more efficient.
This summer 2018 these projects were undertaken:
Kohlmaisbahn in Saalbach
A new modern 10-person gondola will replace the old Kohlmaisgipfelbahn. With a transport capacity of 3,200 people per hour, the new lift offers comfort as well as maximum efficiency.
Asitzmuldenbahn 8er in Leogang
A new 8-person chairlift with heated seats, bubble covers and as well automatic restraining bars will replace the old Asitzmuldenbahn 6er. This lift will be able to transport a total of 3,500 people per hour to the top of the mountain.
Hochalm II & Streuböden Reservoirs
These two reservoirs have a holding capacity for 251.300 m³ & 150.000 m³ of water respectively. They are used for the snowmaking machines to guarantee snow-covered pistes.

Perfectly shaped fun parks
There are several fun parks at the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn:
- The NIGHTPARK at the Unterschwarzachbahn
- The Funcross at the Hochalm 6er in Hinterglemm
- The NITRO Snowpark at the Asitzmuldenbahn 8er in Leogang
- The Learn-to-Ride Park at the Bernko-gelbahn in Saalbach
- The Easy-Park at the Zillstattlift in Fieberbrunn
FUN Snow Trails
There are more than 10 Snow Trails throughout the Skicircus. The young, and the not so young will have great fun speeding on the trails with waves, ramps plus steep turns and narrow woodland.
Freeride Action at the Freeride Park
The Freeride Park by the Asitzmuldenbahn 8er in Leogang promises a unique experience in the Skicircus: here, the freeride and freestyle area connect to a natural park with Drops, Rails, Jumps and Kickers.
High-speed Tobogganing
Whether at “Leo’s Kufengaudi” in Leogang, the natural Biberg toboggan run in Saalfelden, the illuminated natural “Diretissima” toboggan run in Fieberbrunn, or on the Reiterkogel toboggan run in Saalbach Hinterglemm – the tobogganing opportunities in the Skicircus are endless and promise kilometres of fun from early evening to late at night.
Alpine Achterbahn
“Full steam ahead” both in summer and winter at the Streuböden middle station in Fieberbrunn. With Timoks Coaster you can whizz down a run of 1.160 metres long before the two-seater lift transports you to the top again. The use of Timoks Coaster is free of charge with a valid ski pass!
Flying at Low Altitude
The Flying Fox XXL in Leogang is one of the longest and fastest steel rope slides in the world with a length of 1.600 metres and a top speed of 130 km/h. The flying altitude is up to 143 metres.
On the right track
More than 360 km of cross-country trails are awaiting sports fans in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn.
Treetop Trail and Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps
You will find the highest treetop trail in Europe at the end of the Saalbach Hinterglemm valley (Talschluss). It is a unique project, combining the trail with an Alpine “Golden Gate” suspension bridge.
Tread lightly
The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn has 260 kilometres of winter hiking trails for fans of snowshoeing and winter hiking in an idyllic winter landscape.
Party on ice
At the Ritzensee in Saalfelden, as well as at the Sportzentrum Saalbach Hinterglemm, you can pirouette to your heart’s content.
A trot through the snow
Wrapped up in a warm snug blanket, take a magical horse-drawn sleigh ride through a winter wonderland in Saalbach Hinterglemm, Saalfelden Leogang and Fieberbrunn.
Bullseye
Those wanting to try their hand at winter archery will find up to 28 targets of varying difficulty in Saalbach Hinterglemm and Saalfelden Leogang.
Llama trekking in the middle of the Alps
This is a unique hiking experience. You can go Llama trekking in Fieberbrunn. With your certified mountain hiking guide Barbara, you can experience nature in all its glory on various hikes through Fieberbrunn while at the being accompanied by some four-legged friends.
Nordic Park Saalfelden Leogang
The Nordic Park at the Ritzensee offers winter sports enthusiasts something aside from Alpine skiing. Even the smallest of guests will learn the basics of cross-country skiing in the popular Fun & Snow Park. Ice-skaters can practice their pirouette turns on the Ritzensee with the Steinernen Meer as a backdrop. Cross-country skiers can glide through winter paradise with a network of around 150 kilometres of trails of varying difficulty. Or what about going tobogganing or on a snowshoe hike? You will find all this and much more at the Nordic Park!
