Les Gets is the ultimate family resort with numerous specially designed areas on the slopes that allow kids to play. As an example, you find the Indian-themed Grand Cry area with decorated slopes and sound system, play modules, teepees, picnic area, trapper’s hut games of skill and music, video totem, face painting, etc. You can step into the void on the Ranfoilly platform, which will bring you thrills, not for those with vertigo! Highlights for the 2024-25 ski season
- Les Chavannes is having a longer covered magic carpet: this area is great for beginners and this magic carpet (or tapis roulant) takes you to the top of a 125 meters green run. Nothing beats having an easy piste to start doing your first turns, without being afraid that the terrain is suddenly more difficult!
- A special beginner pass – called the P’tite Glisse ski pass gives you access to 13 slopes and 12 lifts. You can learn to ski using this pass at your own pace and at a cheaper rate than buying the full pass. The cost for a 1-day P’tite Glisse ski pass is EUR 27 for adults and EUR 21 for children (web rate)
- A new night- time trail called Alta Lumina is a magical experience that plunges visitors into a fantastic world and gives them an immersive adventure unique in Europe. In the heart of the forest at nightfall, visitors follow a one-kilometre trail of light through successive tableaux, where the story of the music peddler, bound up with the DNA of the region, is poetically suggested through light, sound, images in all their forms, scenography and interactivity. This is ideal for all ages and is open virtually all year round. Self-guided tours last between 50 minutes and 1 hour. Times vary according to nightfall- price is EUR 19.50 for adults and EUR 10.50 per child. More info here.
- Snowshoeing and Mont Blanc at Dusk: You can have the Mont Blanc for your own if you set off at dawn or dusk to one of the magical viewpoints overlooking the resort. Under the glow of headlamps, with the snow glistening, in the rising or setting sun, the spectacle is exceptional to do with snowshoes. An organised tour with a ‘breakfast’ snack or an aperitif with local produce costs EUR 40 per person with poles and snowshoes. Duration of the tour: approximately 3 hours. To book, call Émilie Fourot 33 (0) 6 78 64 52 01 emilie@gmail.com
- Stay one night under the stars at the Chéry Dôme. These geodesic domes are comfortably equipped with electricity, WIFI, en-suite facilities and an outdoor brazier to warm your hands while gazing at the starts. On the other hand, you are in the middle of a snow-covered field enjoying the peace and quiet of the high mountain. These domes can accommodate between 2 and 7 members of the same group or family. In the kitchen, you can enjoy dishes prepared using summer crops from the garden and locally grown produce. New for 2025, there is a new, better insulated canvas for the bedroom area, for even greater comfort and privacy and a smaller ecological footprint. Rates: from EUR 285 per night for 2 people including bed and breakfast. Book here.

- Another option is to take a night-time snowshoe tour with Laurent, a mountain guide. After 45 minutes of walking, sliding and good humour, it is time to have a break with a succulent Savoyard fondue accompanied by local charcuterie. Price EUR 55/person. Book here

- Dog-sledding Inuit experience: This is a private dog-sleigh outing immersed in Inuit culture for adults. This unforgettable outing departs at the end of the day at last light from Lassarre, high up in Les Gets. The Inuit trainees follow the trails at the pace of the dogs, enjoying moments of timeless gliding and admiring the scenery. Halfway along the trail, they take a break with a hot drink. Alongside the dogs and the two mushers, this is a unique opportunity to enjoy a time of exchange and knowledge-sharing, during which the specific characteristics of the job, animal welfare and the care given to the 12 dogs are discussed. The adventure ends under the stars, equipped with headlamps. An enchanting route, a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, and plenty of adrenaline. Young children can also try the activity as an introductory experience, comfortably seated in a sleigh. Price EUR 110/person. Duration: approx. 1h30. Info and booking here.
